Late star Adriana Xenides' heartbreaking final text revealed. In a devastating confession, Wheel of Fortune 's John Burgess opened up about the last time he spoke to his co-star Adriana Xenides. Adriana sadly passed away on June 7, 2010, just days before she sent a lengthy birthday message to John. 'She sent me a big, long text during the night, which she was prone to do,' the TV host told News.com. Xenides, 54, co-host of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune for 18 years, was admitted to Liverpool Hospital in Sydney last week with stomach pain. John Burgess and Adriana Xenides.
